Adelaide - IICA TUV Functional Safety Engineer SIS Training

The IICA Functional Safety Engineer SIS training course has been developed by IICA for automation and control professionals and risk engineers in the process industries. IICA is an accepted course provider in the TUV Rheinland Functional Safety Program and TUV Rheinland will award qualified participants who pass the exam at the end of the course a FS Engineer (TUV Rheinland) certificate. The course is based on the latest edition of IEC 61511 and provides detailed insights and fundamental understanding of functional safety concepts, industry standards and the methodologies used to determine and maintain safety integrity levels (SILs) in safety instrumented systems used in the process industries. It emphasises the actions you need to take to comply with the functional safety standards.

Friday: 8:30am - 12:30pm Course material
Friday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm Revision

Examination will be on line:
Online examination may be taken at a time to suit you on the Saturday or until Saturday the following week. All the material for the exam will be covered in the course (and is in the notes). The examination will be held online. You will be able to take the exam anytime over a nine-day period from immediately after the course. To take the exam online you will require a computer with an internet connection, video camera, microphone, Chrome web browser, and permissions to install Chrome extensions.

To do this, follow the steps noted below.


1. Go to the sign in tab at the top right hand corner of the website and choose “Forgot username?”.

 

2. Enter your Email address in the Email field and click “Submit”.

3. Email notification:
You will receive an email from us that will contain your username and a link to set your new password. Click this link and continue to step 4.
Remember to check your junk folder for the email. If you do not receive the email, please contact us.

4. Enter your new password, confirm, and click "Submit".

You will now be able to sign in using your email and new password. You will be taken to your personal landing page where you will find information specifically for you.

This is also a good time to look at your profile and sure that we have the most up to date information for you. To do this, click on your name in the top right menu.
