IICA: AMPCONTROL E Motion - Hybrid Power System

Join us for the IICA Newcastle Technical Event on 6th March 2024, from 5pm - 7pm. Ampcontrol, Steber International, and the University of Newcastle will be unveiling E Motion, an innovative 43’ 600kW hybrid boat.

Designed to reduce the maritime carbon footprint with an impressive operational range, E Motion caters to the defence, government, and private sectors. Discover Hybrid Power Unleashed as E Motion combines a diesel engine and an electric system, revolutionising maritime sustainability while maintaining operational efficiency.

Dive into emission reduction strategies, hybrid topological nuances, and the economic implications for hybrid vessels. Witness E Motion, a pioneer in green maritime tech, demonstrate the future of efficient, sustainable marine transportation. The event includes a short presentation at the Rydges, followed by a tour and ride on the boat itself.

non-members are welcome to attend for a fee of $30 pp.
