Thank you Brisbane!

On 2 December the IICA Brisbane Committee hosted a Christmas Party at The Normanby Hotel. It was wonderful to be joined by so many members to look back on 2023, a year that saw us host 13 events all up!

We saw record numbers for our Expos in Gladstone and Townsville (and pretty great numbers in Brisbane, too!), we accessed places not normally open to the public (like underneath a Steel Taipan), we were educated on topics so very varied - from safety requirements, to augmented reality, to industrial A.I., to advanced process control, to straight length flowmeter pipe length, to a renewable first controller, to temperature sensing for underground mine ventilation.

We stepped up to the edge to access the data, we attended Schools of Manufacturing and Chemical Engineering, and we learned who are the trivia kings and queens within the IICA community.

So there was plenty to celebrate! Thanks so much to our generous sponsors General Marking, REGOMS, Endress + Hauser. Weidmueller, Yokogawa and KROHNE: these wonderful companies have made it possible for us to put on this networking shin-dig.

Some happy snaps from the event:
